Alexandra F. Leary's indexed work centers on gynecologic cancer treatment, with a consistent focus on immunotherapy for advanced cervical cancer, as seen in the phase II KEYNOTE-158 study of pembrolizumab she senior-authored. Her most-cited lead-author contributions also include the biology and management of mucinous ovarian carcinoma and PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway targeting in ovarian cancer, while neoadjuvant chemotherapy's effect on immune infiltration and PD-L1 expression in epithelial ovarian cancer reflects an abiding interest in how treatment reshapes the tumor immune microenvironment. Beyond these, Leary contributed as a middle author to the ARIEL3 and ARIEL2 trials of rucaparib maintenance in recurrent ovarian carcinoma and to molecular classification work from the PORTEC-3 trial in high-risk endometrial cancer, alongside ESMO guideline efforts on homologous recombination deficiency testing. No software, datasets, grants, or patents are indexed beyond her publications. Her Isabelle L. Ray-Coquard-adjacent guideline work and the through-line from HER2 and lapatinib studies to immune-checkpoint and PARP-inhibitor investigation suggest a career spent translating molecular insight into trial-level gynecologic oncology practice.
