AI generated · 2d ago

Byron J. Powell's indexed work centers on how health systems select, specify, and tailor strategies for moving evidence into routine practice. His most-cited first-author contributions include the ERIC compilation of implementation strategies, a consensus-driven taxonomy that has become a reference point in the field, and an earlier compilation of strategies for implementing clinical innovations in health and mental health. Related work extends this line into methods for selecting and tailoring implementation strategies, alongside a later research agenda for enhancing the impact of implementation strategies in healthcare. Beyond these, Powell contributed as a middle author to recommendations for specifying and reporting implementation strategies and to concept mapping work characterizing relationships among ERIC strategies. His senior-author outputs include mechanism mapping to advance research on implementation strategies and an updated protocol for a systematic review of implementation-related measures. No software, datasets, patents, or grants are indexed beyond his publications. Across these works, the throughline is a sustained effort to make implementation strategies nameable, comparable, and testable, a program advanced through collaborations such as those with Cara C. Lewis.
