Clary B. Clish's indexed work centers on targeted metabolomics workflows for precision medicine, a line of inquiry reflected in two highly cited methodological and review contributions that frame much of the platform's later output. Earlier first- and senior-author studies examined lipoxin and aspirin-triggered lipid mediators in inflammation, including work on oxidoreductase-driven lipoxin A4 inactivation and on transcellular biosynthesis of anti-inflammatory lipid mediators that inhibit neutrophil recruitment. A related strand applied integrative profiling to **metabolic and transcriptomic analysis of APOE*3-Leiden transgenic mice, linking lipid handling to cardiovascular risk phenotypes. Beyond these lead-author works, Clish contributed as a middle author to consortium-scale efforts, including multi-omics characterization of the gut microbial ecosystem in inflammatory bowel diseases and gut microbiome structure and metabolic activity in IBD, collaborations involving [Curtis Huttenhower](/author/c99be7da-7d47-453b-836c-b4da44709460) and [Ashwin N. Ananthakrishnan](/author/e0432a6e-3979-4d6e-88e0-4f20f1641069). Additional middle-author contributions addressed succinate as an inflammatory signal acting through HIF-1α and lipid mediator class switching during acute inflammation**. No software, datasets, patents, or grants are indexed beyond these publications. Taken together, the record traces a trajectory from mechanistic lipid-mediator biochemistry toward large-scale metabolomic profiling embedded in multi-omic disease consortia.
