Danielle S. Bassett's indexed work centers on network neuroscience, the program of treating the brain as a graph whose nodes and edges can be measured, compared, and modeled. Early first-author contributions framed small-world organization in human brain networks, a description later revisited and extended, while work on dynamic reconfiguration of brain networks during learning argued that these architectures shift over time rather than remaining static. Related studies of hierarchical cortical network organization in health and schizophrenia and of controllability in structural brain networks suggest a sustained interest in how network topology constrains function and dysfunction. Beyond these, middle-author contributions include intrinsic and task-evoked network architectures of the human brain and a benchmarking effort for participant-level confound regression strategies addressing motion artifact in functional connectivity studies, the latter reflecting the methodological care such analyses demand. No software, datasets, patents, or grants are indexed alongside these publications, so the visible record is publication-based; Christos A. Davatzikos appears among indexed collaborators. Taken together, the listed works trace a line from descriptive graph accounts of brain organization toward dynamic, controllable, and rigorously confounded models of how networks support cognition and disease.
