Christy A. Morrissey's indexed work centers on neonicotinoid contamination of global surface waters and the risks posed to aquatic invertebrates, a review that remains her most-cited lead-author contribution. Related studies examine widespread neonicotinoid detection in Canada's Prairie Pothole wetlands and the ecological and landscape drivers behind those concentrations, while her senior-author research extends this concern to wildlife, showing that insecticide exposure impairs fueling and delays migration in songbirds. Beyond these lead-author papers, Morrissey contributed as a co-author to the Worldwide Integrated Assessment, including reviews of systemic insecticide effects on non-target invertebrates and vertebrate wildlife, and to analyses linking agricultural drivers to farmland bird declines in North America. No software, datasets, patents, or grants are indexed beyond her publications. Across these works, her contributions trace a consistent line of inquiry: documenting pesticide contamination in aquatic and terrestrial systems and connecting that exposure to measurable consequences for the organisms that depend on them.
