Bradley Monk's indexed work centers on perinatal choline supplementation as a buffer against alcohol-related hippocampal cholinergic disruption, the subject of his most-cited first-author study, and on machine learning approaches to identifying genetic variants potentially associated with Alzheimer's disease. A more recent first-author preprint asks whether language models possess relational abstraction, arguing they do not. Read together, these suggest a line of inquiry spanning developmental neurobiology, computational genetics, and the cognitive limits of artificial systems. Beyond those lead-author works, Monk contributed as a middle author to a Phase II trial of dual PD-1 and CTLA-4 checkpoint blockade in advanced cervical cancer, the most-cited item in his indexed record, and to prenatal choline supplementation mitigating behavioral alterations from prenatal alcohol exposure. Related middle-author studies examine a neural pathway controlling motivation to exert effort and stress transforming lateral habenula reward responses into punishment signals. No software, datasets, patents, or grants are indexed beyond these publications. The arc runs from choline and hippocampal development through circuit-level reward neuroscience to machine learning and language-model cognition.
