Agus Santoso’s indexed work centers on the dynamics of the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and its interaction with broader climate systems. His most-cited last-author contribution, a 2014 *Nature Climate Change* paper, identified recent intensification of wind-driven circulation in the Pacific as a key factor in the then-observed warming hiatus, accumulating over 1,300 citations.
