David Bernard Miklos's indexed work centers on CAR T-cell therapy for B-cell malignancies and the immunology of transplantation. His most-cited senior-author study, a phase 1 trial of dual CD19/CD22-targeted CAR T cells in relapsed or refractory B-cell malignancies, has accrued over 600 citations, while earlier first-author work established that antibody responses to H-Y minor histocompatibility antigens track with chronic graft-versus-host disease and remission. He also led a trial of ibrutinib for chronic graft-versus-host disease after prior therapy failed, and more recently examined second-tumor and T-cell lymphoma risk after CAR T-cell therapy. Beyond these, Miklos contributed as a middle author to the pivotal axicabtagene ciloleucel trials in refractory large B-cell lymphoma, including the ZUMA-1 registration study, work conducted alongside Cameron John Turtle and Crystal Lee Mackall. His line of inquiry extends to high-throughput VDJ sequencing for minimal residual disease and circulating tumor DNA monitoring for early relapse detection after CAR T-cell infusion. No software, datasets, patents, or grants are indexed beyond these publications. Taken together, the record traces a consistent arc: from transplant immunology and minor histocompatibility antigens toward molecular monitoring and engineered T-cell therapies for lymphoma.
